NonMutant just shared its second benefit compilation NonMutant Presents Volume II: Unite!, a release whose proceeds benefit United We Dream. The organization helps to protect immigrants, defending against deportations, gaining educational access, and seeking justice for LBGTQ immigrants. A cavalcade of local Philly bands including The Stammer, Sandcastle, Lizdelise, Full Bush, Blood Sound, Sheena & Thee Nosebleeds, and Young Pilgrims can be found on the collection. On Friday, September 28, The Barbary will host a charity benefit show for United We Dream, featuring Young Pilgrims, Ess See, Full Bush, and The Stammer.

"Dark prom pop" purveyors Blood Sound plan to release their debut EP, as a duo, in 2018. However, before that happens, they wanted to share a collection of their favorite recordings with Chris J., who has decided to ride off on his new motorcycle towards the next phase of his life.
