Modern Baseball Return From First Full U.S. Tour at Golden Tea House Aug. 26

While Modern Baseball’s star continues to rise - thanks to their beloved LP Sports, you can still experience them in their natural environment tonight at Golden Tea House. (Take note that the show has been moved from Yarga Basement.) Modern Baseball will be returning home from their first full U.S. tour (that they booked in two weeks with the help of friends) so be sure to welcome them back. And you can expect their performance to be tight this evening - in the most fun way possible. They’ll also be joined by Secret Plot to Destroy the Entire Universe, Marietta, Sic Bacchus and Vermont’s Tyler Daniel Bean. New Modern Baseball/The Hundred Acre Woods Split Available for Streaming

Modern Baseball and The Hundred Acre Woods are putting out a split tomorrow via local indie label Lame-O Records. It features two unreleased tracks ("All I Love" & "Left of the Hill") from The Hundred Acre Woods and one unreleased track ["(240)"] from Modern Baseball as well as fan favorite "Re-do" off their LP Sport. They shared it last week with NYC-based music blog Property of Zack, where you can stream the release in its entirety.

Check out the new Garden State-inspired music video from Modern Basball for their track "The Weekend"! It premiered earlier today on Property of Zack. Sing-along w/Modern Baseball at The Barbary April 24

Modern Baseball will be helping fellow Philadelphians The Wonder Years celebrate their record release next month at the First Unitarian Church. The show is already sold out, but you have the opportunity to catch the recent Run For Cover Records signees tonight when they roll into The Barbary. Just be prepared to sing-along with their ravenous, young fans. They’ll also be joined by Cleveland, OH’s Light Years and Syracuse, NY’s Safe. New Video: "Broken Cash Machine" (Piss Couch Sessions) - Modern Baseball

Maggot House's Piss Couch Sessions recently posted an acoustic performance of a few songs by Run For Cover Records' Modern Baseball. Here's a new one from the local emo crew called "Broken Cash Machine." You can also view them performing "Tears Over Beers," "Re-done," and "I Think You Were In My Profile Picture Once" from their full-length album Sports HERE. Modern Baseball will be performing next in Philly on Wednesday, April 24 at The Barbary.
