Mumblr just shared a new music video for "Got It," the opener of their latest LP Full of Snakes (Fleeting Youth). Combining clips of the group biking around Philly on a rainy day and raw footage from their performance at now defunct Golden Tea House (RIP), you find a juxtaposition between laidback contemplation and all out primal rage, which matches the versatility of the band's instrumentation and Nick Morrison's vocals. The video was directed by Ian Ross, and we're sure that you'll be able to catch Mumblr performing live in town again sooner than later.

There is a new four-way split release featuring tracks from Mumblr, Ghost Gum, Clique, and Loose Tooth. The EP officially comes out on February 20, but you can now stream it below. The bands will also be celebrating its arrival this Friday at the First Unitarian Church.

It’s that time of year again for our last post of 2014 and my list of favorite Philly records for this year. My procrastination was strong this year, but once again, I just managed to make it just under the gun. It’s always overwhelming to dig into all the great music that we have been lucky enough to come across throughout the year. I’m sure that there are some albums that have fallen by the wayside of this list, but hopefully you’ll discover or rediscover a new favorite like I have while taking this journey.
