Radiator Hospital

New Under The First Floor Compilation Available for Streaming & Purchase

Below is a new twenty-band compilation from the Under The First Floor podcast, entitled Mixtape Vol 1. It features Deli Philly favorites such as Strawberry Runners, Yowler, Corey Flood, Radiator Hospital, TVO, MINT, and many more rad, fledgling artists. Their performances were laid down on four-track cassette in a basement. "Shitty recordings of bands you should like." All proceeds will be donated to RAICES, "a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees."

New Radiator Hospital LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Radiator Hospital returns to a stripped-down, intimate sound on its latest release, Sings "Music for Daydreaming", which just dropped today via Salinas Records. Graceful melodies roll and bounce in an easy-going manner as the endearing nature of the lyrics strikes an exposed, relatable chord. The band is set to hold its record release celebration on Tuesday, May 21 at PhilaMOCA, supported by Cherry, Swanning, and Big Nothing.

New Music Video: "Weird Little Idea" - Radiator Hospital

We're excited to hear that Radiator Hospital is set to release a new LP, titled Music for Daydreaming, on May 10 via Salinas Records. On the latest album, the project's mastermind Sam Cook-Parrott has decided to take on all the instrumental duties, which is reflected in his new video for the record's lead single, "Weird Little Idea," directed by Adam Peditto. The footage appears to have been captured in the intimate confines of the First Unitarian Church's Side Chapel. Radiator Hospital is heading out on tour in May with Big Nothing in support of Music for Daydreaming, and will be returning home to PhilaMOCA on Tuesday, May 21 for the album's Philly release celebration.

New Music Video: "Lonely Road" - Radiator Hospital

Featured on their latest album Play The Songs You Like (Salinas Records), Radiator Hospital recently shared a music video for “Lonely Road” via the band’s new website. Directed David Combs and Ben Epstein, the footage captures the crew embracing the joys of Hershey Park. However, in contrast to their playful surroundings, a singular member just cannot escape a dreary outlook. On Sunday, June 3, Radiator Hospital and LVL Up are slated to support Japanese Breakfast at Union Transfer.

Weekend Warrior, October 20 - 22

Play The Songs You Like, the new full-length album from Radiator Hospital, officially comes out today via Salinas Records. In a corresponding move, the band will headline a release show this evening at First Unitarian Church. There’s a fuzzy familiarity in these songs - a bouncy enthusiasm that one can latch on to. Lyrically, one finds him/herself paging through a photo album as those sharp but ever-fading memories push back up to the surface. Even the sad points gain a luminous glow, the more time passes. The quartet continuously finds a way to tap into and trigger the communality of personal experiences, with a delicate, united, melodic touch. Tonight, they’ll be joined by the tender-rocking Baltimore trio of Outer Spaces, and capturing a kindred-comforting warmth, Emi Night-led Strawberry Runners, whose new EP In the Garden, In the Night is also now available courtesy of Salinas Records, reinforces the billing.  With a new EP on the way, local trio Eight will kick off the festivities. – Michael Colavita
