Tonight the Swollen Fox-curated Tuesday Tune-Out brings in a doubleheader of wise-beyond-their-years singer-songwriters.

Ron Gallo has been working out his solo chops for months now at Fergie’s open mic nights and his hosted events at the music-friendly Center City waterhole so the transition from being backed by a rollicking full band to the lone man on stage will certainly be a smooth one for him.
Thom McCarthy is kicking off the night, and warming up the audience. The understated musician and his quirky, thoughtful lyrics will surely have the crowd contemplating and snickering inside. This evening’s movie will feature one of my favorite actors portraying a comedic silent-movie legend.
